Camino al Diamante JDN: Upala U 19 apela a buscar medalla con mucho control mental

Al igual que en categoría Sub 15, el equipo Sub 19 no ha tenido quizás el tiempo necesario para prepararse de la mejor manera, sin embargo, buscarán a toda costa dejar en alto al cantón tomando en cuenta que históricamente Upala es un rival incómodo y fuerte para cualquiera en estas justas de Juegos Nacionales.

“No era la preparación que yo deseaba, pero le hicimos frente, logramos clasificarnos y ahora buscamos sorprender en esta fase final, claro no será fácil, todos los equipos vamos por un mismo objetivo”, dijo Melvin Díaz, mánager de la U 19 de Upala.

Según Díaz la fortaleza de su equipo es la parte mental, siente que sus muchachos saben responder ante la adversidad. “Yo digo que este equipo es muy fuerte de la cabeza, uno ve el esfuerzo, la sangre, el empeño con que juegan, no hay duda que es vital esa motivación que ellos tienen a pesar de las adversidades que se puedan presentar en el camino”.

Los upaleños jugarán ante Alajuela este sábado a las 8 am en las semifinales.
