A partir de este sábado 08 de enero 2022 el voleibol de playa verá acción en el Campeonato Nacional 2022 con la participación de 32 equipos en masculino y 38 en femenino.
El Campeonato Nacional se desarrollará en nueve fechas:
- Tres fechas eliminatorias para definir los 12 equipos de categoría elite; los equipos que no consigan entrar entre esos 12 jugarán categoría premier.
- Tres fechas Categoría Élite
- Tres fechas Categoría Premier.

Para la ronda de grupos en las eliminatorias, en femenino son 10 Grupos de tres equipos y dos grupos de 4 equipos, en masculino son ocho grupos de tres equipos y dos grupos de cuatro equipos.
Los equipos serán ubicados por serpentín de acuerdo al ranking inicial que se adjunta en el siguiente link:
En femenino clasifican a la siguiente ronda los primeros lugares de cada grupo y cuatro segundos lugares; que serán definidos por cociente de puntos. En el caso de masculino, clasifican a la siguiente ronda los primeros lugares de cada grupo y seis segundos lugares; que serán definidos por cociente de puntos.
La ronda de grupos se jugará a un set de 21 puntos y a partir de los octavos de final a 2 de 3 sets. A partir de la primera fecha se jugarán todos los partidos a dos de tres sets.
Para esta edición el Ministerio del Deportes y el Ministerio de Salud aprobaron un nuevo protocolo que debe cumplirse al 100 por ciento y que puede leerse en este link:

FECOVOL realizará transmisión de encuentros a través de su página oficial de Facebook y estará informando del acontecer del campeonato en sus redes sociales ya que en esta ocasión tampoco se permitirá el ingreso de público para respetar el aforo permitido en las instalaciones deportivas.
