Selección Femenina de Rafting logra bronce en Campeonato Panamericano de Rafting

Las jóvenes costarricense Esther Mata, Johanna Pereira, Cinthia Escobar, Marianela Castro y Camila Segura, seleccionadas femeninas de rafting lograron la medalla de bronce en el Campeonato Panamericano de Rafting que se realizó en el Río Fonce, Santander, Colombia.

Las ticas se midieron ante equipos que llevaron dos selecciones entre ellos Colombia, Chile, Argentina y México. Las ticas superadas solamente por los dos equipos de Chile (1-2), quienes se llevaron las preseas de oro y plata.

Por su parte, las selecciones masculinas terminaron en las posiciones 6 y 7 entre 17 equipos inscritos. La medalla de oro fue para Brasil; plata Colombia equipo 1; bronce Venezuela ; y seguidamente Colombia equipo 2; Argentina equipo 1; Chile; Costa Rica equipo 1; Costa Rica equipo 2; Argentina equipo 4; Chile equipo 1; Colombia equipo 3; Perú; México; Ecuador y Bolivia.
