Las eliminatorias de Juegos Deportivos Nacionales iniciaron en agosto y durante nueve fechas de intensos partidos, en octubre se conocieron los 12 equipos clasificados, en total 6 de la rama femenina y 6 en masculino.
Se acabaron los partidos para estos 12 equipos que lo dieron todo en cada jornada, pero aún quedan puestos disponibles para Juegos Nacionales; la eliminatoria terminó, pero el repechaje apenas estaba iniciando.
Los equipos que finalizaron segundos en cada uno de los grupos, tanto en femenino, como en masculino, iniciaron la pelea por los últimos dos puestos para femenino y tres para masculino su último intento para las justas deportivas más grandes del país.
En total se realizarán cinco jornadas, de las cuales ya se han jugado cuatro y los mejores equipos posicionados en la tabla, serán los que ganen ese anhelado pase.
Los cantones de Belén y San Ramón llevan la delantera en femenino, mientras que en masculino Limón y Goicoechea están empatados…
Entre los datos interesantes de este disputado repechaje están:
- Goicoechea (masculino) se convirtió en sorpresa al eliminar a Escazú en la etapa clasificatoria y está por entrar a Juegos Nacionales, dejando claro que cuando consiga entrar, buscará la medalla.
- Belén (femenino) las jugadoras han estado en la primera posición de la tabla desde la jornada 1 del repechaje y están listas para hacer su pase a Juegos
- Limón (masculino) aunque sufrió un duro golpe al no clasificar en la primera etapa, como en los años anteriores, ha sido incansable en el repechaje para clasificar si o si y está de primero en la tabla
A pesar del cansancio, cada equipo en el repechaje sigue dando la lucha tratando de dar su mejor y último esfuerzo con el fin de cerrar en la quinta fecha con el mejor puntaje posible y una clasificación que esperan con ansias.
