Por su parte, Steven Román Chinchilla quien vio acción por Clase 8 cayo 1-3 ante el británico Aaron Mc Kibbin, ambos atletas lograron estar presentes en la cita mundiualistas grascias a la gestión realizada por la FECOTEME quien solicitó por medio de la Federación Paralimpica de Costa Rica dos tarjetas de invitación para que ambas figuras estuvieran presentes en dicho Mundial.
Ahora ambos enfocan su morada al evento de cierre de temporada la Copa Costa Rica de Para Tenis de Mesa a realizarse del 14 al 16 de diciembre.
