Marco Tulio Suesca suma su segundo día como líder de la Vuelta Costa Rica Telecable 2022

El ciclista colombiano que compite para el Movistar Best PC de Ecuador, Marco Tulio Suesca mantuvo este jueves su liderato en la Vuelta Costa Rica Telecable tras ingresar en la tercera posición de la sétima etapa con tiempo de 3:43:17.

El ganador de la etapa fue el ecuatoriano Alexis Quinteros, quien compite para el Team Banco Guayaquil Ecuador y registró un tiempo 3:42:52 tras 120 kilómetros de competencia, mientras que el segundo de la etapa fue Robinson Chalapud, del mismo equipo de Quinteros.

El mejor tico de la etapa fue Sergio Arias quien arribó a Pinares con tiempo de 3:43:17 seguido de Kevin Rivera, quien lo hizo cuatro segundos después.

En cuanto a la categoría sub 23, Gabriel Rojas sigue líder de la competencia, mientras que Chalapud mantiene la camiseta de montaña.

Con respecto a las metas volantes, el corredor Manuel Larios recibió el jersey este jueves debido a que Jason Huertas no culminó la etapa por lesión y la camiseta de líder por puntos ahora pertenece a Marco Tulio Suesca.

La etapa estuvo marcada por el retiro de cuatro ciclistas, quienes no pudieron culminar la prueba por lesión y cuatro más que no tomaron la salida desde Pérez Zeledón.
