Esta semana la profesora y miembro de la junta directiva de la Federación Costarricense de Tenis de Mesa FECOTEME Mercedes Valenzuela, participo en el primer Taller de Educación Física para maestros en deportes de raqueta específicamente en la disciplina de tenis de mesa.
Entre los temas a desarrollar estuvo el Abordaje de la implementación y medición Pedagógica de este Deporte en el Tenis de Mesa y su respectiva implementación para clases de Educación Física en centros educativos.
Al taller se hicieron presentes cerca de 20 profesores del cantón y se contó con la participación de un grupo de niños proveniente de algunos centros educativos y a la vez atletas que forman parte del proceso de JDN-ICODER 2022, mismo fue impartido en las instalaciones de Centro Cívico por la Paz Santa Cruz gracias a la colaboración de CCDR-Santa Cruz, Dirección Regional de Educación de Santa Cruz y el Tenis de Mesa de Santa Cruz.
Dicha iniciativa forma parte del plan de Desarrollo que impulsa el ICODER con el apoyo de la FECOTEME y avalado por el MEP en pro de acercar a los estudiantes de primaria y segundaria al deporte y la salud.
