Selección U17 finaliza fase de grupos del Centrobasket con victoria 69-52 ante El Salvador

La selección nacional U17 no tuvo el arranque esperado en este Centrobasket. Sin embargo, la participación en la fase de grupos se cierra con una victoria frente a un rival directo a nivel centroamericano.

El inicio del juego la tropa nacional estuvo completamente clara, logrando llevarse el primer cuarto por el marcador de 22-6. Con eso mostraban mantener una claridad en el juego que podía darnos la primera victoria en la competencia.

Para el segundo cuarto, la consigna era mantener la ventaja conseguida. Estos fueron los minutos más trabados por ambas selecciones que no encontraban la efectividad que tanto se requiere en estos juegos.

De esta manera, para nuestra tropa U17 el camino se estaba acomodando debido a que se llegaba al tercer cuarto con una buena ventaja de 33 a 16, por lo que había una ventaja amplia de 17 puntos que si o si había que mantener en el juego.

A pesar de que la ventaja continuaba en el tercer cuarto, los salvadoreños lograron bajar un poco la diferencia en el marcador; sin embargo, los seleccionados nacionales lograron cerrar el último cuarto de gran manera dejándose el juego con el marcador 69 a 52.
