Las griegas llegaban como favoritas para su segundo duelo en la edición XL de los Juegos Deportivos Nacionales en el Polideportivo del cantón de Grecia pero encontraría a un Belén con sed de triunfo.

El duelo entre belemitas y griegas estuvo muy parejo, a pesar de la lesión de la líbero de Belén, el equipo de la provincia de Heredia logró vencer 2-0 con parciales iguales 25-20 en el partido de la jornada 2 que se desarrolló la tarde de este viernes 27 de enero 2023.

El primer partido, fue entre Turrialba y San Carlos. El primer set fue para las defensoras del título, San Carlos, 25-16. El segundo set, las turrialbeñas lucharon cada balón para dejarse la victoria 25-21 y extender el partido hasta el tercer set, que finalmente ganarían las sancarleñas 15-9.

Cartago y San José se enfrentaron en el penúltimo juego de la jornada. Las brumosas se dejaron la victoria 2-0 con parciales 25-18 y 25-14.

Cerrando la jornada, el clásico del Pacífico, como le llaman los aficionados, entre Montes de Oro y Abangares, fue un gran duelo que favorecería al sexteto de Montes de Oro 2-0 con parciales 25-21 y 26-24 en un duelo con cierre de infarto.

Este sábado se desarrollará la Jornada 3 que definirá de forma oficial las clasificadas a las semifinales del próximo lunes 30 de enero 2023.
