La tarde de este sábado 17 de junio la Sala Nacional localizada en el Parque de la Paz, ubicado al Sur Este de la capital San José, abre sus puertas a la comunidad amateur y a los experimentados del Tenis de Mesa de nuestro país, con motivo de la III Fecha del Ranking de Veteranos, organizado por la FECOTEME.
Una vez más este grupo de tenimesistas tendrá la posibilidad de disfrutar de una tarde amena junto a grandes amigos, conocidos y de paso repasar algunas anécdotas del pasado que les han marcado, también se contará con la participación de las tenismesistas veteranas y el evento acoje a las categorías de las edades 30-45, 46-59, 60+, que cuenta con grandes expectativas.
Por otra parte, luego de las variantes que dejaron los resultados en la II Fecha, todos mantienen abiertas sus posibilidades para figurar y alcanzar las primeras posiciones por lo que se espera partidas muy emocionantes que puedan ir perfilando a los aspirantes al título y subtítulo de la presente temporada 2023.
Atletas como Allan Calvo del club San José, Steve Herra del club de Montes Oca, (30-45), Oscar Rodríguez del club Vásquez de Coronado y Jimmy Pérez del club Carmen de Heredia (46-49), Álvaro Arriaga del club San José y Henry Peñaranda del club Heredia (60+) salieron airosos en la II Fecha por lo que llegan con la moral al tope en busca de repetir lo alcanzado en la fecha anterior.
