La Federación Costarricense de Tenis de Mesa FECOTEME, informa a los medios de comunicación e interesados que este sábado 17 de junio en la Sala Nacional ubicada del Parque de la Paz, en San José, será sede de la 3ra Fecha del Open Femenino 2023.
Se espera una buena convocatoria por parte de las tenimesistas, que llegan algunas de ellas con la intención recuperar terreno en la general por lo que intentarán tener una buena jornada y así ubicarse entre las ocho mejores de la 3ra fecha y así seguir sumando puntos para mantenerse en el grupo de las más destacadas de la temporada.
El cuerpo técnico de la FECOTEME confirma la presencia de atletas seleccionadas mayores que enfrentan en pocas semanas los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe, El Salvador 2023 y las atletas que representarán al país en el Campeonato Centroamericano U-11 y U-13 con sede en Tegucigalpa, Honduras con fecha a confirmar.
Por lo que se espera una jornada muy disputada e importante para ir perfilando las posibles, sub campeonas y campeonas, que mantiene de momento a varias atletas con posibilidades como María Paula Araya Aguilar del club Santa Ana, Lucía Zavaleta Ovares y Sofía Pérez Guardiola de Esparza, Ariana Ulloa Montero del club Escazú, Victoria Castro Salas y Brenda Vásquez Sánchez del club Alajuela, entre otras.
