- Torneo se juega en las ramas de femenino y masculino
Este sábado 16 y domingo 17 se desarrolló la fecha #1 por Categorías del Campeonato Nacional de Voleibol Playa. Los equipos se clasificaron y dividieron luego de dos eliminatorias donde se distribuyeron según la posición en la tabla de puntos acumulada.
Las categorías que juegan tanto en masculino como en femenino son Élite y Premier, y la categoría A se desarrolla solo en masculino.
Este fin de semana la competencia inició en la rama femenina donde en Élite resultaron ganadoras la dula Fill It Up y en Premier Studio Koi.
«Los partidos estuvieron muy buenos y retadores con un buen nivel. Estamos muy contentas y seguiremos trabajando para seguir con los buenos resultados», destacaron Fanny Mejía y Marjorie Díaz, primer lugar de la categoría Premier.
Por su parte, Katherine Quesada y Kianny Quesada se mostraron contentas por el apoyo y por ganar la fecha: «Muy felices de este triunfo, la primera fecha de élite más competitiva, el nivel subió y eso hace que los equipos mejoremos, y se vea beneficiada la selección Nacional».
En masculino la competencia inició por la tarde del sábado con la fase de grupos extendiéndose la competencia hasta el domingo con los encuentros de semifinales y finales.
Boris Duarte y Andrey Quintero de Hotel Botánica ASOVOPLA se dejaron la primera fecha de Élite, destacaron que fue una fecha complicada y están muy motivados: «Una semifinal muy difícil y una final muy complicada, Seguiremos trabajando y quedan cuatro fechas más donde esperamos estar siempre en los primeros lugares y darle todo y ponerle las fechas que vienen».
En la Categoría Premier los ganadores fueron Steven Matamores y Poll Gómez del equipo Visualiza: «La fecha fue muy intensa, nos sentimos muy felices, una experiencia muy buena, muy buenos juegos y estamos contentos de haber ganado la fecha», destacaron.
Para este año destaca la Categoría A en Masculino, donde los alajuelenses AVPLA Los Alajuelos consiguieron el primer lugar.
«Nos venimos esforzando y lo teníamos propuesto, sobre el nivel de la categoría que estamos que es para los que estamos iniciando en este deporte, hay duplas muy buenas, nos costó pero logramos el objetivo que nos propusimos», mencionaron Ian Muñoz y Minor Ramírez.
