Hungría y República Checa suman oros en el segundo día del Mundial Universitario de Ciclismo

El ciclista de República Checa, Jakub Toupalik se dejó este jueves la medalla de oro en la contrarreloj individual del Mundial de Ciclismo Universitario (FISU) que se realiza en San Carlos.

El pedalista checo registró tiempo de 25:04:219 y venció por milésimas al corredor polaco Marcin Trojanowski, quien hizo el segundo lugar con tiempo de 25:04:744.

Konrad Czabok también de Polonia completó el podium del día en la tercera casilla con 25:58.

En la rama femenina, la húngara Petra Zsanko repitió con victoria tras dejarse la crono con tiempo de 23:57, seguida de la polaca Zuzanna Chylinska con 24:28.

El tercer lugar fue para la eslovaca Nora Jencusova con tiempo de 24:37.

“Feliz de ganar, ayer lo hicimos u hoy repetimos la victoria, la ruta es muy bonita, esperamos poder ganar mañana también en la prueba de ruta“, aseguró Zsanko.

Este viernes 31 de mayo se realizará la prueba de ruta con 112 kilómetros para la rama masculina y 88 kilómetros para la rama femenina.

El recorrido saldrá del Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC) en Santa Clara, llegará hasta Muelle en San Carlos y cerrará de nuevo en el TEC.

Las pruebas iniciarán a las 8:00 a.m.

Medallero luego de dos días de competencias:

Hungría: 2 Oros

Alemania: 1 Oro – 2 Bronces

República Checa: 1 Oro – 1 Bronce

Polonia: 2 Plata – 1 Bronce

Slovakia: 2 Plata
