Al Agua 340 nadadores en la Etapa Final de #jdnguanacaste2024

Desde este jueves 4 y hasta el domingo 7 de julio, la piscina del Polideportivo de Nicoya recibirá la Etapa Final de la natación y natación paralímpica de los XLI Juegos Deportivos Nacionales y Paranacionales Guanacaste 2024.

Luego de realizarse las eliminatorias en abril, estarán en esta fase en natación 295 competidores (146 masculino y 149 femenino) así como 45 nadadores de la natación paralímpica (30 masculino y 15 femenino.)

La natación de Juegos tendrá cuatro sesiones en las que competirán los atletas clasificados en las categorías Infantil B (11-12 años), Juvenil A (13-14 años), Juvenil B (15-17 años) y Mayor (18-20 años), en masculino y femenino. Por su parte, la natación paralímpica contará con la categoría Open.

Para esta Etapa Final en la natación participarán 340 atletas en representación de los siguientes equipos de comités cantonales: Coto Brus (2), Pérez Zeledón (6), Alajuela (19), Grecia (1), Naranjo (21), Palmares (2), San Ramón (3), Cartago (8), La Unión (4), Belén (37), Heredia (13), Escazú (14), Goicoechea (22), Montes de Oca (12), San José (45), Santa Ana (35), Nicoya (1), Santa Cruz (26) y San Carlos (24).

Mientras tanto, en la natación paralímpica se presentan los comités cantonales de Alajuela (5), Atenas (1), Grecia (2), San Ramón (1), Cartago (1), Turrialba (1), Belén (5), Santo Domingo (1), Escazú (9), San José (18) y Nicoya (1).

Este será el segundo año de la para natación en Juegos, siendo la primera en el 2023 en Alajuela.

Las acciones en el agua se iniciarán a partir de las 5 p.m. todos los días y el evento será transmitido en vivo desde la página de Facebook de la Federación Costarricense de Deportes Acuáticos (FECODA) (www.facebook.com/FECODACR) y en su cuenta de YouTube (www.youtube.com/channel/UC7c9FpxbyYKUB0MJw4XguuA)
