Sub-17 Femenina afronta semana cargada de retos

La ilusión reina en cada entrenamiento de la Selección Femenina Sub-17. El grupo de jugadoras enfrenta una semana llena de retos con 2 fogueos internacionales ante Panamá a la vuelta de la esquina.

La primera cita será el viernes 17 de diciembre a las 3 p.m en las instalaciones de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol. El segundo se realizará dos días después en el mismo lugar.

Las futbolistas aseguran que la prueba la asumen con mucho compromiso, pues saben que estos juegos serán el primer desafío de este calibre que tengan como grupo.

“Nos están pidiendo mucho compromiso. Vamos paso a paso y queremos afrontar el primer juego internacional como selección Sub-17 con mucha responsabilidad”, señaló la jugadora Joselyn Fonseca.

Las jugadoras califican el grupo como “muy unido”. Y sin duda esa será una de las claves del equipo dirigido por Patricia Aguilar de cara a un 2022 donde tendrán que enfrentar la eliminatoria mundialista a finales del mes de abril.

“Somos un grupo muy unido, con metas claras. Somos jugadoras con muchas ganas y queremos ir a ganar y empezar a formar el objetivo que es la eliminatoria”, añadió Joselyn.

Por su parte, Luciana González es una de las seleccionadas con mayor experiencia a pesar de su corta edad (15 años). Actualmente es parte del primer equipo del Club Sport Herediano Femenino y con selecciones menores ha participado en torneos de Uncaf.

“Con estos fogueos nos daremos cuenta de qué es lo que nos hace falta. En el partido cada una dará su mayor esfuerzo y veremos si estamos preparadas y qué debemos mejorar”, finalizó Luciana.
