Las selecciones Sub-17 y Sub-20 Femenina terminarán el 2021 con partidos de fogueo internacionales en el Complejo Deportivo de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol.
Las primeras que tendrán acción serán las dirigidas por Patricia Aguilar. El equipo infantil jugará ante el combinado de Panamá 2 amistosos el 17 (3 pm) y 19 de diciembre (10 am).
Este equipo intensificará su preparación, pues del 23 de abril al 8 de mayo del 2022 jugarán por un boleto mundialista en el campeonato clasificatorio de Concacaf que se realizará en República Dominicana.
“Para nosotros es importante darle competencia a esta categoría Sub-17 antes del Premundial. Nuestra prioridad es que acumulen minutos, tengan roce internacional y que sepan competir contra una selección. Panamá nos puede aumentar este nivel de exigencia”, comentó la entrenadora Patricia Aguilar.
Por su parte, la escuadra juvenil que tendrá un año vital con el Mundial en casa incluido, enfrentará a su similar de Guatemala los días 21 y 23 de diciembre (ambos encuentros a las 10 am).
Las seleccionadas a cargo de Harold López han venido trabajando con microciclos de trabajo en el año. Incluso en setiembre pasado enfrentaron 2 encuentros ante España.
“Debemos darle seguimiento a lo que hemos venido trabajando con ellas y motivadas con la confirmación de estos fogueos. Están muy positivas de enfrentar a un equipo de Centroamérica que es aguerrido y complicado. Vamos a preparar muy bien esos partidos”, señaló López.
El 2022 le traerá a nuestras selecciones femeninas un año cargado de acción con la eliminatoria mundialista de la Mayor, el clasificatorio de la Sub-17 y el Mundial Costa Rica 2022 a partir del mes de agosto.
