La Paz, Baja California, Junio 7, 2022. La Selección Nacional U21 perdió de manera  0-3 contra el poderoso equipo de Estados Unidos en el primer partido de las nacionales en la Copa Panamericana Sub 21 en Baja California Sur en México.

Para el primer set los parciales fueron XX-25, para el segundo set se vieron ampliamente superadas por el equipo de norteamericano cayendo 04-25, durante el tercer set, el combinado patrio logró acomodarse de mejor manera en la Arena La Paz finalizando 08-25.

Las mejores anotadoras del encuentro para Costa Rica fueron : Angelica Rodriguez con 5 puntos y Nicole Mata con 2 puntos. 

Para este martes 08 de junio las ticas enfrentarán a Argentina a las 4:00pm como parte de los juegos del Grupo C dela ronda preliminar de la Copa.
