“Sabemos lo que venimos a jugarnos”: Femenina está instalada en Monterrey

(Monterrey, México) La Selección Nacional Femenina ya está instalada en suelo mexicano tras un día agotador de viajes. El grupo ya respira el olor a Premundial.

Las seleccionadas costarricenses tuvieron este domingo su primer entrenamiento, que se llevó a cabo en el Centro de Entrenamiento Zuazua Tigres.

En el mismo fue trascendental que las jugadoras sintieran las condiciones del clima que van a ir enfrentando, con temperaturas superiores a los 33 grados Celsius.

La defensora Lixy Rodríguez habló sobre este tema y destacó la actitud que tiene el grupo; con la meta clara de obtener el boleto al Mundial de Australia-Nueva Zelanda 2023.

“Estamos acá y era lo que tanto esperábamos y soñamos. Ahora vamos con muchísima responsabilidad y aquí adaptándonos al clima”, indicó Lixy.

“Desde Costa Rica venimos con una responsabilidad y sabemos lo que venimos a jugarnos, tenemos muchas ganas de que llegue la hora, el grupo está muy unido y venimos por todo”, añadió.

La Tricolor tendrá este lunes el reconocimiento con una caminata por el Estadio BBVA. Luego cerrarán la preparación con un entrenamiento.

Costa Rica está ubicada en el grupo B del Premundial junto a Panamá, Trinidad y Tobago y Canadá. El primer juego será este martes 5 de julio ante las canaleras a las 6 pm (hora de CR).
