Desde las graderías resonó una ovación cada vez que las ticas intentaron aproximarse a la parcela rival, y también cuando la guardameta Génesis Pérez respondió con acierto para impedir que el marcador fuera más abultado.
Costa Rica cerrará su participación en este Mundial en casa próximo martes ante Brasil, de nuevo a las 8 pm en el Estadio Nacional.
