El volante Orlando Galo fue dado de baja la mañana de este viernes por el cuerpo médico de la Selección Mayor, tras salir lesionado del juego que disputó el día de ayer ante Panamá.
Según reportó el médico de la Tricolor, Alejandro Ramírez, el jugador recibió un fuerte golpe durante el primer tiempo y, aunque reportó mucho dolor, pudo seguir jugando, pero sobre el cierre de la parte inicial el malestar incrementó y tuvo que salir de cambio.
“Orlando Galo presenta una lesión muscular en la pantorrilla derecha que fue confirmada después de una serie de exámenes radiológicos. Por el tipo de dolencia no le alcanza el tiempo al jugador para recuperarse”, dijo Alejandro Ramírez.
Por esta razón es que el cuerpo técnico de la Tricolor tomó la decisión de desconvocarlo y su lugar será tomado por el jugador Anthony Contreras, quien se unió a la concentración de la Selección Mayor tras resultar negativo en las pruebas de control de COVID-19.
